Panasonic's unique take on the SL-track features an open angle between the seat and back to allow for both a great stretch, similar to an S-track, and the extended massage range of an L-track, reaching from the neck to upper-hamstrings.

The combination of proprietary massage mechanism design and advanced choreography allows the MAN1 to treat piriformis syndrome and other sciatic nerve pain better than any other massage chair. By targeting the small but important piriformis muscle, the MAN1 alleviates pain, tingling, and numbness in the buttocks and legs caused by pressure on the sciatic nerve.

Air cells apply compression massage to the shoulders, hips, thighs, rear knees, calves, feet, forearms, and hands. The MAN1 massage chair's extensive air cell array is carefully positioned for maximum benefit and insightfully programmed for maximum healing effect. Compression and release are sequenced to faithfully replicate the motions of a real massage therapist. The MAN1 features extended shoulder air cells to provide stronger hold and range, enlarged hip and thigh air cells for a more comprehensive lower body massage and stability, as well as heel air cells to complete a whole foot massage. This chair leaves no space unaddressed.

An additional air cell located behind the knee activates the BL-40 acupressure point to relieve pain in the lower back and legs, and improve blood flow. It also provides therapeutic stretch and traction motions.

The Real Pro Ultra H.I. mechanism constantly feeds information to the chair's Position and Force Microprocessor, adjusting massage movements based on this real-time feedback. This responsiveness allows the MAN1 to faithfully replicate the intricate kneading movements of a human massage therapist. The MAN's ability to sense pressure also means that massage intensity is automatically customized to each user, to a certain degree.

All of the massage features of the MAK1 can be adjusted from gently relaxing to therapeutically firm. Air cell compression intensity, roller massage intensity, and foot massage intensity are each independently adjustable, and you can program and save your favorite settings for up to three users.
