HEALING TOUCH · MATTRESS COMPARISONS

Streamline, Luxetop M1 or Luxetop M2? Compare the layers, the feel and the total bed setup.

The main difference is inside the comfort package. The three Aireloom Preferred models listed at Healing Touch share a 15.5-inch profile and individually wrapped support coils, but differ in their comfort materials, microcoil layers and feel. M1 is listed as Firm; Streamline and M2 are listed as Luxury Firm.

This guide compares the exact models in our current catalog. Aireloom also makes other collections, including latex-core designs, so these specifications should not be treated as a description of every Aireloom mattress.

Aireloom Preferred construction and current Healing Touch prices
Model and feel Comfort construction Main support coils Height Queen / King price
Streamline Luxury Firm TerraPur latex, cotton, Aireluxe and visco foam; no microcoil layer listed 8-inch wrapped coils; 13.75 gauge 15.5 inches $3,990 / $5,290
Luxetop M1 Firm TerraPur latex, cotton, firm Aireluxe and visco foam; one copper microcoil layer 8-inch wrapped coils; 13.75 gauge 15.5 inches $4,899 / $5,899
Luxetop M2 Luxury Firm TerraPur latex, cotton, plush Aireluxe and visco foam; two microcoil layers 8-inch wrapped coils; 15 gauge 15.5 inches $5,899 / $6,899

The manufacturer lists the same main support-coil counts for these models: 864 in Queen and 1,088 in King. The microcoils in M1 and M2 are additional comfort components. Compare coil counts only within the same size and layer type.

Streamline vs. Luxetop: what the names mean

Aireloom uses Streamline and Luxetop to describe top styles. Luxetop allows additional room for comfort materials; Streamline has a simpler top construction. That does not establish a universal softness ranking. The feel name, actual materials and support package remain important.

Streamline Luxury Firm: the simpler comfort package

Streamline combines latex, cotton and foams over wrapped support coils, without a microcoil layer in the published specifications. It is the lowest-priced Queen of these three at Healing Touch. Use it as a starting point for evaluating whether you want the more layered Luxetop response.

Luxetop M1 Firm: a firmer feel with a microcoil layer

M1 Firm adds one 18-gauge copper microcoil layer and uses firm Aireluxe foam in its comfort package. The manufacturer lists 1,410 microcoils in Queen and 1,880 in King. Its Firm label matters: this is a different feel choice from the two Luxury Firm models.

Luxetop M2 Luxury Firm: two microcoil layers

M2 Luxury Firm includes two 18-gauge microcoil layers, with 3,196 total microcoils in Queen and 4,230 in King. Its quilt also lists latex, and its comfort package includes plush Aireluxe foam. Its main support coils are 15 gauge, compared with 13.75 gauge in the Streamline and M1 Firm specifications.

The construction differences are reasons to test the mattresses, not proof that one will be more comfortable for every sleeper. Compare how your shoulder settles on your side, how your hips are supported on your back, and how easily you turn.

Support coils vs. microcoils

The main coil unit supports the mattress. Microcoils sit higher in the comfort package and contribute to its response. Adding their counts together can hide how differently the layers work. More coils do not automatically mean a firmer bed, better alignment or longer useful life.

M2 is a useful example: it has more microcoils than M1 but is listed as Luxury Firm rather than Firm. The foam, latex, quilt and support-coil choices also change. Judge the assembled mattress rather than using one specification as a score.

Materials, temperature and everyday feel

These specifications include TENCEL/dualcool fabric, silk/wool fibers, latex and cooling-enriched visco foam. The combination differs from the TEMPUR-focused construction of Tempur-Pedic. It also means “natural materials” does not mean the entire mattress is natural or organic.

During a fitting, compare the surface cushioning, rebound, edge comfort and partner movement. Temperature-related materials do not provide individual fan controls. Your bedding, protector and room conditions affect how the complete bed feels.

Adjustable-base availability

The manufacturer specifically lists Streamline Luxury Firm, Luxetop M1 Firm and Luxetop M2 Luxury Firm as adjustable-base friendly. The listed wood foundations and adjustable bases are separate purchases. Ask Healing Touch to confirm a suitable base for the exact mattress size and construction, plus current availability and the complete quote.

If you already own a base, bring its brand, model and size. Check articulation, support, retainer-bar fit and total bed height. Do not assume that compatibility with these three Preferred models applies to every Aireloom collection. For independent adjustment on each side, confirm the split configuration on both the mattress and base order.

Price ranges and what the upgrades cost

Current Queen prices span $3,990–$5,899; King prices span $5,290–$6,899. Across all listed sizes and configurations of these three models, catalog prices span $3,590–$9,398. That broader range includes split configurations and should not be used as a same-size comparison.

For Queen, M1 Firm costs $909 more than Streamline Luxury Firm, while M2 Luxury Firm costs $1,000 more than M1 Firm. Those upgrades buy different construction and feel choices. Decide whether you prefer them during a fitting, then compare the complete mattress, base and delivery quote.

Warranty: check the model and law-tag code

The three manufacturer product pages advertise a 10-year warranty. Aireloom’s current written warranty card determines the exact coverage by the code on the law label. A1 and A2 list 10 non-prorated years; A3 and A4 list longer total terms with prorated later years. Do not assume a longer code applies to your mattress.

The same card treats impressions of 1.5 inches or less as normal under A1, and 0.75 inch or less under A2. Coverage depends on the applicable code and other terms, including proper support and product condition. Transportation costs are excluded. Keep your receipt and law label, and ask for the correct card with your order.

Warranty coverage concerns specified defects; it is separate from whether you prefer a different feel. Healing Touch’s current refund policy states that Aireloom mattresses are made to order and non-returnable, with manufacturer defect coverage. Spend time checking your exact choice before ordering.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Aireloom M1 and M2?

For the models compared here, M1 Firm has one microcoil comfort layer; M2 Luxury Firm has two. They also differ in foam, quilt and support-coil specifications. Compare the exact feel names rather than assuming M2 is simply a firmer M1.

Is M2 softer because it has more coils?

Coil count alone does not determine softness. M2 Luxury Firm and M1 Firm use different layered constructions and feel labels. Test the actual mattresses in your usual sleep position.

What is Aireloom Lift?

Aireloom Lift is the manufacturer’s name for its construction approach designed to let the coil system contour under load. It is a mattress design feature, separate from an adjustable base that raises the head and feet.

Are Aireloom mattresses organic or entirely natural?

Not as a blanket brand claim. These models combine natural components with manufactured foams and other materials. Check the exact model specification and any certification’s scope.

Can these Aireloom mattresses be used on an adjustable base?

Yes, the three named manufacturer listings identify them as adjustable-base friendly. Confirm the selected base and size together; exceptions exist elsewhere in the Aireloom range.

Can I keep my existing foundation?

Only if it meets the applicable support requirements and remains sound. An older foundation can change the feel and may not provide adequate support. Bring details or photos of your current setup to the fitting.

Do body impressions mean my mattress is defective?

Not necessarily. Upholstery can settle with use. Compare any concern with the warranty code on your law label and the written terms, and have the support system checked.

Should I flip or rotate my Aireloom?

Keep the intended sleep surface up. Follow the rotation schedule supplied with your exact mattress and warranty card; head-to-foot rotation helps condition the upholstery. Do not substitute Tempur-Pedic’s care routine for Aireloom’s.

Will standard sheets fit a 15.5-inch mattress?

Check the fitted sheet’s actual pocket depth and allow for any protector or added pad. The nominal bed size alone does not establish sheet fit.

Is Aireloom made in the United States?

Aireloom’s manufacturer identifies U.S. handcrafting and factories in California, Pennsylvania and Texas. That does not establish a particular factory for your order or the origin of every individual component.

Can I return an Aireloom if I choose the wrong firmness?

Healing Touch’s posted policy lists Aireloom mattresses as made to order and non-returnable. Review the written terms and test the model before purchase; a defect warranty is a separate matter.

Compare mattresses at Healing Touch in Plano

Healing Touch serves Plano and Dallas–Fort Worth. Arrange a mattress fitting and ask which models, feels and adjustable bases are available to try. Bring your bed-frame measurements, preferred mattress size, sleeping positions and your partner’s preferences.

Spend time in your usual sleep positions, turn from side to side, and sit at the edge. If you plan to use an adjustable base, test the mattress raised as well as flat. A familiar brand name or a higher price cannot settle these comfort decisions for you.
